The motor mount with the cooling fan seems like a good upgrade that would increase both the life of belt, pulley and motor but does it fit under the airstryke body?

Motor mount, heatsink and fan will fit with the Airstyke shell or the std shell.

With the Airstyke shell it does stick out of the back of the shell slightly but you don't need to cut any extra off the shell.

We have tinkered with the battery strap a few times to get the fit just how we want it, expect to see them in the shop before Micro X.

The 28mm motor has a really nice power delivery, however, I feel the the extra weight of the big can motor upsets the balance of the car too much so we have decided to stick to 24mm motors.
